社内利用は可能だが、第三者にチーム・ドキュメントを作らせる商用ドキュメントサービスとしての提供は不可。Change Date（現行 1.10.1 は 2030-09-09）以降は Apache-2.0。

Outline は高速でシンプルなチーム Wiki です。Markdown ベースのエディタ、コレクション単位の権限管理、Slack 連携を備え、社内ナレッジベースとして Confluence や Notion の代わりに使われています。

ログインは SSO 前提のため、Google Workspace や Slack を使っている組織なら導入が容易です。

Outline は無料で使えますか？

Outline はオープンソースで、ソフト自体は無料です。自分のサーバー（VPSなど）で動かす場合はサーバー代（月額数百円〜）がかかります。公式のクラウド版（有料プラン）も提供されています。

Outline は日本語で使えますか？

UIの日本語化は「あり」です（翻訳ファイル shared/i18n/locales/ja_JP/translation.json）。UIは日本語対応。SSO（Google / Slack / OIDC）前提の設計。

Outline はオープンソースですか？

ライセンスは BSL-1.1 で、ソースコードは公開されていますが、OSI（オープンソースの定義を管理する団体）が承認したオープンソースライセンスではありません（ソース公開型）。社内利用は可能だが、第三者にチーム・ドキュメントを作らせる商用ドキュメントサービスとしての提供は不可。Change Date（現行 1.10.1 は 2030-09-09）以降は Apache-2.0。商用で使う場合はライセンス条文を確認してください。
